Cliff Creek Outfitters proudly continues a 40-year legacy of outstanding guided recreation and high-quality rentals. Starting as Desert Voyagers Guided Raft Tours in 1984, transitioning to Cimarron River Company, then Arizona Outback Adventures (AOA) in 1997, and most recently as REI Co-op Experiences in 2019, we are committed to delivering exceptional outdoor tours and services.

We accommodate groups of 2 to over 200 with a variety of active excursions, including:

Gentle paddle recreation on the Lower Salt and Verde Rivers
Exhilarating mountain biking in McDowell Sonoran and Phoenix Mountain Preserves
Casual cycling and e-bike rides along the Valley of the Sun’s historic canals
Hiking options from easy to challenging in Maricopa County Parks

For those needing gear, we offer over 300 bikes, including high-performance models and e-bikes, along with inflatable kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and camping equipment.

Our guides work part-time on a seasonal basis, sharing their expertise with guests of all experience levels—from first-timers to seasoned adventurers. We're especially interested in those with backgrounds in cycling and river activities, but we welcome a wide range of outdoor skills.
